Montclair Mayor Changes Mind, 2 New BOE Members Take Posts
The Montclair Board of Education officially welcomed Joe Kavesh and Franklin Turner as its new members.

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair Board of Education shuffle continues.
During its Thursday meeting, the BOE swore in two of three new appointees after Mayor Robert Jackson announced – for the second time - that he has changed his mind about appointing the Rev. Jevon Caldwell-Gross, Joseph Kavesh and Franklin Turner to board.
Jackson temporarily withdrew his nominations for the three new board members last week, until he reportedly informed the school district that he would allow the three to take their seats on Thursday afternoon.
