A new $500,000 federal grant will boost security at the planned Andover station, helping protect ongoing work on the Lackawanna Cut-Off, a key link in the future regional rail corridor.
   

5. Blanca Elizabeth Vega (montclair.edu) — Montclair-area readers may know Dr. Blanca Elizabeth Vega from her leadership in Montclair State University's MA in Higher Education program, which she helped grow into a stand‑alone degree.
