Stephen Colbert, Meryl Streep At Montclair Film Fest Benefit

Stephen Colbert + Meryl Streep + Montclair Film Festival = "An unforgettable evening."

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Late night talk show host and political pundit Stephen Colbert will be pairing up with acting legend Meryl Streep for this year’s Montclair Film Festival fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 1.

Colbert, a Montclair resident, has been an active supporter of the annual film fest, which will take place from May 3 to May 12 in 2019. In particular, he’s been a regular presence at annual benefit shows for the MFF; previous fundraisers have included personalities such as J.J. Abrams, Samantha Bee, Jimmy Fallon and John Oliver.

In keeping with this tradition, for 2018, the Daily Show alum and former star of the Colbert Show landed another huge star: three-time Academy Award-winning actor Meryl Streep.
