2010 Census: Population Rises in Montville

Nearly 700 more people in the township between 2000 and 2010

Montville's population increased by nearly 700 people between 2000 and 2010, according to the 2010 Census data released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The overall Township population is listed at 21,528, up from 20,839 in 2000.

Population increased in every demographic except for “Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander,” which dropped from 4 to 2 over 10 years, and residents aged 18 and over, which dropped slightly in 2010 to 15,987 from 15,597 in 2000.
