Four Will Vie For Two Open Township Committee Seats

Four candidates for township committee submitted petitions to the Montville Township Clerk’s Office before Monday’s 4 p.m. deadline to run for the two open spots on the Township Committee in this November’s election.

Incumbent Republican Committee member and current Mayor, along with Republican Committee member Deb Nielson, will vie for re-election to the township committee along with former committee member, Republican Art Daughtry. Sandham and Nielson's terms both end in December.

Democrat Mike O’Brien will also run for a seat on the Township Committee. O’Brien ran for one of the two open seats in last November’s election along with Truscha Quatrone.
