Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening.  It’s your time. Take it.

The true beauty of an open mic night is in its uncertainty. Will the next performer play some Chopin on the guitar, or will it be a crude, off-key cover of “Dear Prudence?” That spice of not know if the next song will be music to your ears or noise pollution ensures that, regardless of what sound comes out, it won’t be boring. How many free forms of entertainment can boast that?
