COACH’S TAKE
“We left our sticks in the locker room I guess. To this point we have hit very well as a team and we have been putting up about 10 or 12 runs a game. It’s a law of averages I guess and you can’t expect to keep that type of pace up. We’ll see what happens and how we bounce back tomorrow.”-Head Coach Joseph Cardinale
THEY SAID IT
“High Point’s pitcher was throwing breaking balls early in the count to get ahead and he located his fastball. Granted we hit some really hard balls that were caught, but he threw strikes. When you can throw two pitches for a strike at this level, you can be effective and today he was.”-Cardinale
