Officer Tremblay Promoted to Sergeant [VIDEO]
Sgt. Charles Tremblay has served on the department for 16 years.

Montville police officer Charles Tremblay was promoted to sergeant at the Township Committee meeting on Tuesday.
He was introduced by Capt. Wayne Guarino, who said Tremblay has stood out for his professionalism since he started with the force 16 years ago.
Tremblay, a lifelong township resident, is an instructor at the Morris County Police and Fire Academy.

In 2006, he worked with the Morris County Tactical Narcotics Team while he was assigned to the Detective Bureau, Guarino said.
Tremblay's wife, Erin, 10-year-old daughter, Devin, attended the ceremony.
