Residents Needed for New Committee

Township Committee looking for two Montvillians for Land Use committee.

The Township Committee is looking for two residents to join a newly formed committee.

According to the township’s website, the Committee is looking for people to join its recently created Land Use Advisory Committee. The committee, established on February 22, will function as an advisory board to suggest ways to streamline the land use application process to make it “less arduous and more affordable for both residential and nonresidential development applicants.”

The committee would make recommendations to the Planning and Zoning board of adjustment, as well as the Township Committee.

The township’s website says that the committee is comprised of consists of two Zoning and Planning board members, a non-voting member of the Township Committee, the head of the Planning Department, the township planner and two residents.

Interested parties should complete the attached application and submit it to the township clerk by 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
