Another reader emailed the answer and noted they attended the church in the 1950s.

The challenge photo featured the church's historic bell tower. A church committee began raising $40,000 to restore the historic tower in 2008, according to the church website.

The church is led by the Rev. Charles Bigelow.

The Montville Reformed Church which was established before the Township of Montville was established. It started in the area of where the Boonton reservoir is and later moved to the other side of Church Lane. It burned down in 1938 and was rebuilt in its present location. It was the home Church of an offshoot that left and moved over to Change Bridge Rd where it called itself the True Dutch Reformed Church because of doctrinal differences with the original church. All that is left of the offshoot Church is the seceder Cemetery on Change Bridge Road. Three generations of my family were baptized and married at the Reformed Church. A walk through the old cemetery on Church Lane is like a walk through the History of Montville Township from the Revolutionary war to the present day. Many current family names are represented in the cemetery on both sides of Church Lane.
