Another Fort Dix Inmate Pleads Guilty In Child Porn Ring: USAO
Six of the eight people have now admitted to their role in the child pornography ring.

A sixth inmate at at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix (FCI Fort Dix) has admitted to possessing videos of child sexual abuse while imprisoned on other similar charges, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced on Wednesday. Christopher D. Roffler, 30, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, pleaded guilty to an information charging him with one count of possession of child pornography, authorities said.
He admitted to possessing a micro SD Card containing 305 videos and 16 images of child pornography, including depictions of sexual abuse of pre-pubescent children and sadistic and masochistic conduct, according to authorities.
He also admitted that he used a cell phone inside the prison to obtain and possess child pornography and that he transferred a micro SD card containing child pornography to another inmate, authorities said. Roffler was already serving eight years, four months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography. He was scheduled to be released on Aug. 22, 2019.

He now faces a mandatory minimum term of 10 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 12. He is the sixth person to admit his role in an alleged child pornography ring that involved a total of eight inmates in the prison.
Earlier this week, Erik M. Smith, 36, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, was sentenced to 12 years, 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. He is also subject to five years of supervised release.

Last month alone, four people admitted their roles in the scheme, including 26-year-old Jacob S. Good, of Fredricksburg, Virginia, who pleaded guilty last week to an information charging him with one count of possession of child pornography. His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 7.
The Virginia man who was accused of leading the ring already pleaded guilty to his role in the operation. Anthony C. Jeffries, 32, of Orange, Virginia, pleaded guilty to an information charging him with one count of possession of child pornography. His sentencing is scheduled for July 10.
Jordan T. Allen, 31, of Plain City, Ohio, pleaded guilty to an information charging him with one count of possession of child pornography. His sentencing is scheduled for July 17.
Brian J. McKay, 47, of Brookhaven, Pa., pleaded guilty to an information charging him with one count of possession of child pornography. His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 6.
Charges remain pending against William H. Noble, 52, of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Charles Wesley Bush, 38, of Knoxville, Tennessee.
All those accused as part of this network were already serving sentences for prior child pornography offenses while committing the alleged crimes in this case. The pending charges and allegations are merely accusations, and these defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
