Moorestown Sees 2 More Deaths Due To Coronavirus
It was the fourth straight day deaths related to the coronavirus were announced in Moorestown.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Two more Moorestown residents have died after testing positive for coronavirus, Burlington County officials announced on Friday.
For the fourth consecutive day, at least one death related to coronavirus was reported out of Moorestown. Three of the last four days have seen multiple fatalities related to the virus.
The recent deaths included a 100-year-old man and an 84-year-old man. On Thursday, officials had reported that a 96-year-old man had died after testing positive for the virus.

On Tuesday, officials had announced that seven Moorestown residents died after testing positive for the coronavirus, the single highest death total related to the coronavirus reported in Moorestown in a single day since the pandemic began.

Previously reported coronavirus deaths in Moorestown included an 89-year-old woman, an 84-year-old woman, an 82-year-old man, an 86-year-old man, an 88-year-old man, an 84-year-old woman, a 93-year-old-man, a 73-year-old-man, an 87-year-old man, a 97-year-old woman, a 76-year-old man, an 86-year-old woman, an 85-year-old woman a 93-year-old woman, a 68-year-old man, a 91-year-old man, a 97-year-old man, a 79-year-old woman, a 73-year-old woman, a 77-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man. An additional eight Moorestown residents also tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing to 211 the total number of coronavirus cases in the township. Countywide, there were 95 new cases, bringing the total number of positive cases of coronavirus to 3,403, with 192 deaths. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.
