MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A Burlington County Corrections officer who has been charged with murder reportedly shot a doctor’s office employee near a coronavirus-testing station.
Bruce Gomola Jr., 51 of Burlington Township, is accused of fatally shooting 41-year-old Stephanie Horton over a dispute concerning Gomola's father at a Delaware Valley Urology Office, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Laurel Police Chief Stephen Riedener.
Gomola took his father to the doctor’s office at about 1 p.m. and got into an argument with Horton in the hallway outside the office in which a coronavirus-testing station is located, nj.com reports. The argument concerned his father’s appointment, but it wasn’t clear if his father was being tested for the coronavirus.
