Prescription Fraud Arrest Made In Burlington County, Police Say

The fraud occurred at a CVS in Marlton, according to officials.

MARLTON, NJ — A man was arrested on charges that stemmed from using a "fraudulent script" to obtain prescription narcotics in Burlington County, officials said.

An "alert pharmacy technician" at the CVS located at 360 State Route 73 South called authorities on Saturday, according to the Evesham Police Department.

The employee said Daud Khan, 20, of Chantilly Virginia, might be using falsified paperwork to acquire prescription narcotics, officials said.

Police detailed the Virginia man as he tried to leave the store, according to officials.

Their investigation led to charge Khan with third-degree forgery and third-degree prescription drugs obtained fraudulently, officials said.

Khan was released on a criminal complaint summons, according to officials.
