Fall 2024 Composter Bin Sale

The Morris Plains Beautification Committee is sponsoring a discounted sale of backyard composters and related items this fall.

As leaves start to fall, it is the perfect time to start composting in your backyard. Save your leaves rather than putting out at the curb to use up during the year and collect your food scraps (which can be up to 20% of the municipal waste stream) as you build the perfect compost pile. Layering green and brown materials and tossing periodically to keep air circulating makes the perfect mix. You'll get the benefits of finished compost to add nutrients and improve the soil in your flower or vegetable gardens.

Sponsored by the Morris Plains Beautification Committee. Residents can order a composter (and may want to consider adding a rodent screen and aerator), kitchen scrap bucket, rain barrel, and more online at reduced prices and then conveniently pick them up at the Morris Plains Community Center.

Order directly at: https://morrisplains.company.s...
