23-year-old will be tried for Jan. 31 incident that resulted in victim being shot in the leg on Lincoln Street.

A Morristown man who was charged in March with attempted murder during an alleged robbery earlier this year has been indicted by a grand jury on the charge, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced Friday.

Police responded to an incident on Lincoln Street on Jan. 31 after a call was made at 5:20 p.m. that day for a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. During the call, it was reported that there was “severe bleeding to the leg.” It was later learned there had been a shooting.
