Avoid Driving During Storm, Morristown Police Warn
Tuesday afternoon's storm is expected to pack a wallop.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Residents should avoid driving during Tuesday afternoon's storm if they can, Morristown Police said.
The storm is expected to hit the area between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., and during that time, police are asking residents to "consider postponing travel until the storm system passes through the area." The storms could bring flash flooding, strong winds and large hail, the National Weather Service said. A flash flood watch also is in place from 4 p.m. Tuesday through 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police say the storm could also cause conditions likely to spawn a tornado.
