Morristown Woman Killed, Man Injured In Union County Crash: Police
A man also sustained 'moderate' injuries from the crash, according to State Police.
UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ — A crash killed a Morristown woman Tuesday night in Union County. The collision took the life of Amy L. Miller, 31, according to New Jersey State Police.
The fatal crash occurred just after 8 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 78 West. Bronx resident Balele J. Bamouni sustained "moderate" injuries, according to State Police Tpr. Charles Marchan.
A Toyota Camry had been disabled in the left lane because of a prior accident, and the occupants exited and stood alongside the car, Marchan said. A Nissan Altima traveled in the left lane behind the parked Toyota, with a Honda CRV driving on the highway behind the Nissan, police said.

The Nissan driver moved to the right to avoid a collision with the Camry, but the Honda struck the back of the Altima, Marchan said. The Honda then hit the left concrete barrier, the back of the Toyota and a pedestrian, according to police. The impact pushed the Toyota into the second pedestrian, authorities said.
State Police did not publicly identify anyone else involved. The crash remains under investigation.
