The wife of a retired New Jersey police officer was charged this week with suffocating and killing him in a Florida hospital room, according to police. Prior to his alleged suffocation, Jan Sochalski was found pressing the button for her husband's self-administered pain medication system, and was told by hospital staff to stop.
