East Brunswick Man Killed By Amtrak Train In New Brunswick
An East Brunswick man has been identified as the person tragically hit and killed by an Amtrak train Wednesday in New Brunswick.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — An East Brunswick man has been identified as the person tragically hit and killed by an Amtrak train Wednesday in New Brunswick.
Venugopal Menon, 54, of East Brunswick, was struck and killed on the tracks just outside the New Brunswick station Wednesday morning, NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith confirmed to Patch.
He was hit just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4. His death does not appear accidental or suspicious.

Both Amtrak and NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor line were affected by delays on Wednesday.
