Before starting at the MAX in Pway, I was a firm believer of living life to the fullest, even if it meant packing on the weight and not feeling great about myself. When I would see people eat healthy, I would wonder what enjoyment they got out of eating (healthy). Well for the first 10 week challenge, I ate simply, just because I had gotten away from cooking over the last couple of years and was eating fast food all the time that it took me awhile to navigate their website, pick up recipes that members posted and then go grocery shopping in order to get those healthy ingredients to cook with. I recently finished my second 10 week challenge and I’ve had a complete 360 degree turnaround in my attitude about eating healthy. I am in the grocery store/supermarket several times a week picking up fresh fruit and veggies. I spend at least part of my weekend prepping my food for the week ahead. I am excited each weekend to figure out what new recipe I will try. This weekend alone I tried at least 4 new ones. Just started my third 10 week challenge, I’m down 41-42 lbs., went from wearing a size 16 down to a 10 and both feel and look great ! I love to eat and eating healthy does not mean that you can’t eat well. I’m slowly, but surely finding that out. At the MAX locations, owners and trainers are trained and knowledgeable about good health, nutrition and exercise and the combination of the three makes for great and proven results.
