Career Expo for Bio-Tech, Pharmaceutical & Life Science Industries
Event will be held on June 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Looking for a job in bio-technology? Seeking a career in the pharmaceutical industry or in life sciences?
The NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development along with the non-profit BioNJ Talent Network are sponsoring a career expo for employers and those seeking jobs in these industries on Friday June 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rutgers Student Center in New Brunswick.
“New Jersey is well known as the nation’s medicine chest because of the number of bio-technology, pharmaceutical and life-sciences businesses operating here,” said Department of Labor Commissioner Harold J. Wirths. “It’s important for us to link our talented workforce to promising careers in the industries that will continue to drive the state’s economic engine.”
The expo is still seeking employers who are interested in recruiting potential employees. Those seeking jobs can pre-register for the event.
“We expect to attract a similar group of attendees for the career expo on June 17th and we are pre-qualifying candidates as industry professionals by requiring a resume at the time of their online registration,” said Vicki Gaddy, director of the BioNJ Talent Network.
Those seeking employment should go to the BioNJ Talent Network website and click on the banner that says “BioNJ Career Expo.”
For companies looking to recruit potential employees, they should reserve a space at the expo by contacting Vicki Gaddy of the BioNJ Talent Network at VGaddy@BioNJ.org, or Megan Lunde at MLunde@BioNJ.org, or call 609-890-3185.
