Own a Pet? You Need a License

State law requires dogs and cats to have a license

The Borough of New Milford's Health Department is reminding borough residents to register their cats and dogs.

Pets must be licensed every January, according to New Jersey state law. Residents who need to register their pets should head to the Health Department in Borough Hall.

If you no longer have your pet, please call the Health Department at 201-967-7075 to let them know.
