The phones have been restored at Borough Hall and both incoming and outgoing calls can be made to municipal lines.
The phone lines at Borough Hall had gone down earlier in the day, according to Borough Administrator Christine Demiris.
Demiris said police phones were still working and were not affected by this outage.
