Top Issues:
On United Water Property: The Republicans on the Council are conducting an in-depth research into the current developer's proposed plans. We have been above-board with the residents, having an open forum where all could hear, see and voice their opinions on these initial plans.
On Flooding: There is no silver bullet solution here, but we need to look at multiple, potential solutions. We need to focus on asking United Water to aggressively manage their overflow during storms, and I still await the opportunity to ask many questions from our citizens and myself to this corporation. NOTE: We have invited them to the June 13th meeting and are awaiting an answer.
On Spending: As a single, working parent, homeowner, and taxpayer, I know we have to manage the pennies to save dollars. We have to look at inefficiencies within our local government, at possibly sharing services with surrounding towns, and at the value of any spending increases.
