United Water to Appear Before Planning Board Tuesday
They will be submitting their revised plans for the application of the minor subdivision of the property

The Borough of New Milford's Planning Board will once again hear from United Water regarding their application for a minor subdivision of their 16 acre property located at Main Street and Madison Avenue.
United Water last appeared before the Planning Board on April 26 and Vice Chair Hedy Grant, who lead the meeting in the absence of Chairman Angelo DeCarlo, requested that the company submit revised plans for the May 17 public session reflecting changes that needed to be made.
The company is seeking to take their property currently known as Block 1309, Lot 1 and subdivide it into Lots 1.01 and Lot 1.02. Lot 1.01 would not be included in the sale to developer S. Hekemian Group.

The revised plans were completed on May 4 and were submitted to the borough for the board's review after May 6.
The changes to the plan included removing references to John D. Cecchino Drive as a county road and the removal of the county right of way dedication for Cecchino Drive. It was determined that Bergen County returned that portion of roadway to borough control by resolution back in 2004 when it was turned into a one way street with parking for the high school.

According to documents submitted by the applicant, the plans do not show it but all four buildings in the area known as the "maintenance yard" on Madison Avenue will be removed but the asphalt and macadam will remain.
Notice of the public hearing was sent to property owners and was published in The Record although this type of application does not require notice to the public.
The Planning Board will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall.
