Video: Borough Planner Addresses the Mayor and Council at Monday's Work Session

Borough Planner Dennis Kirwan gave a presentation to the governing body at their work session on Monday night, giving background information on the United Water property. Kirwan referenced the borough's master plan, COAH (Council on Affordable Housing) requirements and more before hearing from the mayor and council regarding what information they would like to review before rendering any decision on the zoning for the 16.49 acre site.

Borough Administrator Christine Demiris said that S. Hekemian Group has placed $5,000 in escrow which is what the borough will use to pay for the report that Kirwan will generate in approximately six weeks. The report will offer recommendations to the council as well as answer questions they had specific to the property and its potential development.
