The Paramus Public Library held an award reception Wednesday for the 22nd Annual Poetry Contest, at which Paramus students from first through eighth grade were presented with certificates for winning poems. Mayor Richard LaBarbiera presented the awards, with prizes ranging from first, second or third place and an honorable mention in each grade group. Select students also read their winning poems aloud for the crowd.
