CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ February 27, 2017- Bovan’s Auto Services a family owned and operated auto repair shop located at 619 Gorge Road, Cliffside Park NJ has partnered with Community Blood Services and pledged 500 complimentary conventional oil changes to all participating donors to the Bergen County Community Blood Services for 2017.

Bovan’s Auto Services recognizes that there is a great need for blood has risen to the challenge by giving back to the communities they serve.

“No one can ever repay you for your generosity, but this gift is our way of saying THANKS for helping to save lives.” Added Suzzette Phillips. Bovan’s will be hosting several blood drives in 2017, the first is March 17, 2017 at 619 Gorge Road Cliffside Park NJ. The complimentary oil changes will be offered at the donor office in One West Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus New Jersey 07652 on February 27 & 28. More dates will will be announced shortly.

Community Blood Services states that “Every 2.5 seconds someone needs blood – it could be a friend, a family member, or maybe even you. One out of every three people will need blood.” You never know when you or someone you love will be the one.

• An automobile victim may need up to 50 units of red blood cells.
• A cancer patient may require up to 8 units of platelets per week
• An organ transplant recipient may need up to 40 units of red blood cells, 30 units of platelets and 25 units of plasma.
