Big Retailers Continue To Boom In Paramus

While the economy is still sluggish in some municipalities, Paramus retail outlets are growing in leaps and bounds.

While some parents are already looking at back-to-school specials in the midst of a non-stop heat wave, some of the malls and shops they frequent are already gearing up for the winter holiday season.

Inside the The Outlets at Bergen Town Center mall on Route 4 East and Forest Avenue, the walls are starting to take shape for the future Bahamas Breeze and Olive Garden restaurants, which are both owned by Darden Restaurants, Inc.

Not far away on Route 17 near Garden State Parkway's Exit 163 , the PGA Tour Super Store company is planning to open its 15th retail outlet.

"As a retail mecca for both New York and New Jersey residents, the Borough of Paramus is a perfect location for our superstore concept," said PGA TOUR Superstore President and CEO Dick Sullivan in a press release Monday.
