Rt.17 Speeders Caught With $15K Worth Of Heroin In Paramus
BREAKING: More than 1,800 bags of heroin weighing more than 1 pound was found in the Dodge Charger McKenna Gordon was driving, police said.
PARAMUS, NJ — Police found more than 1 pound of heroin worth up to $15,000 in a vehicle that was speeding in excess of 70 miles per hour on Route 17 Sunday, authorities announced.
Officer Connor Nutland saw a grey 2007 Dodge Charger with a New York license plate going faster than 70 miles per hour on Route 17 North near Linwood Avenue, said Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg.
Police Officer Connor Nutland stopped the vehicle, which McKenna Gordon, 20, of Albany, New York was driving. Larry Hunt, 45, of Jersey City, was in the front passenger seat, Ehrenberg said.

Nutland became suspicious of Gordon and Hunt and the vehicle was searched, the chief said. Police found more than 1,800 bags of heroin weighing more than 1 pound inside, Ehrenberg said. The bags were stamped "Spider-web," "Hall Pass" and "Ferrari."
The estimated street value of the heroin is up to $15,000, Ehrenberg said.

Gordon and Hunt were each charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute. They were taken to Paramus Police headquarters where they were booked. They were then remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a bail hearing, Ehrenberg said.
