Xanadu, which was nominated for the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical, follows the journey of a Greek muse, Kira (Candice Belina), who descends from Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, Calif., in 1980 on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny (Aran Mahtani), to create the first roller disco. But when Kira falls in love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters, Callipe (Sydney Driscoll) and Melpomene (Sophia Grigolo) take advantage of the situation.
The cast also includes Rachel Brodsky, Katelyn Farrell, Paige Garlasco and Vicki Lekkas as Muses and features Corey Migatz as Danny. Joanne Pan will be the stage manager and Mattan Romano and Jeremy Balise will play in the pit. All three are Paramus students.
