Bathrooms are just up the hill from the playground and there is a wooded grove with picnic tables where adults can relax and keep a watchful eye.

Nearby basketball courts offer additional entertainment and there is a large picnic shelter with electricity that can be reserved by contacting the township's parks and recreation department.

If you visit on a Saturday during baseball season, you can walk around the parking lot to visit the concession stand. An ice cream truck also frequents this park during warmer weather.

A paved path goes around the field behind the playground and through the woods behind the picnic shelter. It's long enough to offer a bit of exercise for the grown-ups but still a manageable distance for little ones.

Enjoy quiet time at Lake Parsippany Park during the day or visit in the evenings or weekend to witness more activity.

Combine a trip to this park with a visit to the or have lunch at Chevy's Fresh Mex or Atlanta Bread—both are located just off the intersection of Routes 202 and 10.
