New Cop Joins Parsippany's Police Department

Pasquale Parisi comes to township with experience from Bloomfield.

While he may be new to the Parsippany Police Department, Pasquale Parisi is no stranger to the badge.

Officer Parisi joins the local squad after working in the Township of Bloomfield as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher for five years, then as an officer. Parisi attended Essex County College and graduated from the Bergen County Police Academy in 2014.

“Parsippany is very fortunate to have acquired such a nice young man who comes to us with prior training in the techniques and day-to-day responsibilities of a law enforcement officer and with the added bonus of having necessary required certifications. I expect great things from Officer Parisi and wish him much luck as he embarks on his new position with Parsippany,” stated Mayor James Barberio.
