No Criminal Charges For Parsippany Cop Who Took Police Documents
Attorney General says it won't charge James Carifi for taking documents off work computer prior to 2013 retirement, report says.

More than a year after allegedly downloading and keeping 960,000 documents from the Parsippany police department’s computer system, former captain James Carifi will not face criminal charges.
According to nj.com, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office announced in a letter to both the Carifi camp and township attorney John Inglesino that following a “through investigation” no criminal charges would be brought against the former cop.
It has been alleged that Carifi took the documents by downloading them onto an electronic device shortly before retiring abruptly in the spring of 2013.
