• Bar & Grill Chain To Open 1st NJ Location In Parsippany (patch.com) — Parsippany residents can look forward to the first New Jersey location of Burtons Grill & Bar, opening this October in the new District Fifteen15 on Route 10. The 7,400-square-foot restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating, a 30-seat bar, a private dining room, and a menu ranging from seafood and steaks to burgers and salads, while bringing about 125 jobs to the community.
   

• Marotta Controls Opens Parsippany, NJ, Facility as Dedicated Center of Excellence (mfgnewsweb.com) — Marotta Controls has opened a major new Center of Excellence facility in Parsippany, bringing engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and testing together and adding significant local capacity. The aerospace and defense firm plans to keep hiring as its fastest-growing product line expands, signaling more high-skilled job opportunities and long-term investment in Parsippany and the surrounding area.
   

• Gold Award Girl Scout Writes Children's Book About Healthy Habits (tapinto.net) — A Parsippany Girl Scout, Lithra Sankari, has earned the prestigious Gold Award by writing a children's book on healthy habits and leading interactive workshops with local kids. Her project, HealthQuest, focuses on nutrition, sleep, exercise, and hygiene, showing how Parsippany youth are tackling real community health challenges while building leadership skills.
