Should Parsippany's High Schools Be Ranked Among State's Elite?

Newly released magazine rankings keeps PHS, PHHS out of upper tier of New Jersey's public high schools. Do you agree?

New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s bi-annual rankings of the best high schools in the state will hit newsstands on Aug. 26.

But a sneak peek of the upper tier – the rankings’ top 20 – was revealed by the publication earlier this week.

Neither of Parsippany’s high schools is on that list, however.

So we’re asking you, the Parsippany resident, if either, or even both Parsippany High School or Parsippany Hills High School deserves to be in the upper tier of New Jersey’s public high schools, as ranked by New Jersey Monthly. Five Morris County high schools did make the upper tier, including Chatham at No. 1; Mendham at No. 4; West Morris Central at No. 11; Mountain Lakes at No. 19; and Kinnelon at No. 20.
