A power outage impacted the Point Pleasant area on Saturday afternoon, according to authorities. As storms roared through New Jersey, more than 4,000 people were without power (see towns with power outages below).
The power was out in Point Pleasant, Bay Head and Mantoloking, according to the Ocean County Sheriff's Office.

JCP&L was on the scene making repairs, according to the Sheriff's Office. JCP&L reported that only 11 people were without power by 6 p.m.
