Road Closures In Point Pleasant Beach Area

Flooding and other problems prompted closures in the Point Pleasant Beach area this weekend.

Flooding compelled police to close the Route 35 northbound ramp to Route 88 in Point Pleasant Beach on Sunday morning.

This came a day after the Route 88 bridge in Point Pleasant Boro was closed and reopened. Read more here...

Memorial Day parades in the area and across the state had to change plans. The Edison Memorial Day Parade was canceled, and the Barnegat Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. was moved to the American Legion Post on North Main Street.
