Here are the latest local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Princeton:
PRINCETON, NJ —The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Princeton, including the closure of schools and many businesses.
The number of cases of the illness caused by the virus, known as COVID-19, continue to rise and additional measures and closures continue to be announced.
Most recently there were Princeton sent out a notice to residents in regards to the two COVID-19 related deaths at the Atrium of Princeton located at 100 Windrows Way in Princeton.

"The Atrium’s mailing address is Princeton, however it is physically located in Plainsboro in Middlesex County. We ask that any further inquiries be directed to the Middlesex County Health Department. There are seven municipalities in four different NJ counties that use a Princeton mailing address, which can be confusing," Princeton Health Department stated Friday.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Friday that New Jersey has 1,982 new cases and 27 more deaths Friday as a new report says New Jersey could run 60,000 hospital beds short during the course of the outbreak. (See Related: 1.9K NJ Coronavirus Cases, 27 Die As Sick Beds May Run 60K Short)

There were 18 new cases in Mercer County as of Friday, bringing the county's total to 131.

SCHOOLS
All schools in Princeton will remain closed through at least April 17 in response to the new coronavirus outbreak, state officials said. MORE.
Princeton Schools also announced they will extend remote learning from home through April 17. MORE.
BUSINESSES
Princeton grocery stores are taking added precautions to help stop the spread of the new coronavirus. MORE.
Whole Foods Market have also scheduled special hours for senior citizens, at all of its stores including in Princeton. MORE.
A number of Palmer Square businesses are finding alternative ways to keep afloat after Gov. Phil Murphy mandated state closures on March 16. MORE.
Burn Boot Camp Princeton is offering virtual workouts to the community "during this difficult time for people." MORE.
HOSPITALS
Visitors will no longer be allowed at Princeton Medical Center except under special circumstances to protect the health of patients and staff amid new coronavirus concerns. MORE.
CANCELLATIONS/CLOSURES
Princeton announced all municipal buildings and playgrounds will be closed to the public. MORE.
