One-Way Traffic Ordinance On Chambers St. Introduced In Princeton
The current approval for one-way traffic operation is valid only for 90 days, hence the need for the ordinance, officials explained.

PRINCETON, NJ — Traffic on Chambers Street Princeton has been one-way for a while now. So many residents were left wondering why the council introduced an ordinance to enforce traffic direction on the street During Monday's meeting.
As Deputy Administrator Deanna Stockton explained: the current approval for one-way traffic operation is only temporary in nature, hence the need for the ordinance.
“It's my understanding that the temporary one-way operation that was approved is only valid for 90 days. So, we need to follow up with an ordinance to be able to enforce the one-way operation,” Stockton said.
