Princeton Councilwoman Makes Decision on Her Future
Jenny Crumiller is up for re-election this year.

Princeton, NJ -- Princeton Councilwoman Jenny Crumiller made it official this week when she declared her intention to run for re-election, Planet Princeton reports.
Crumiller and Councilman Patrick Simon, both Democrats, are both up for re-election, but Simon chose not to run.
Crumiller had not committed until this week, when she spoke about the need to maintain Princeton’s small-town character in announcing her re-election bid, according to the report.

She is seeking a second-term to the consolidated council, and said developer-driven growth and the loss of affordable homes are major problems facing the town, according to the report. Increased traffic and speeding are among some of the other problems Crumiller sees.
She was on the former Princeton Borough Council, and she supported consolidation.

Earlier this week, Democrat Anne Wauldron Neumann declared her intention to run in this year’s elections.
Other candidates who have declared so far include Princeton Human Services Commission Vice ChairLeticia Fraga and former Princeton School District Board of Education member and current library employee Tim Quinn.
Mayor Liz Lempert is running for re-election to her seat.
The primary is June 7. The deadline to run in the primary is April 4. May 8 is the last day to register to vote.
