Princeton School's Drama Students Win 4 Awards In Statewide Contest
The cast and crew of "The Play That Goes Wrong" won four Foxy Awards at a ceremony held recently.

PRINCETON, NJ — Students from Princeton High School’s theatre department recently won four awards in a statewide competition.
After receiving 10 nominations, the cast and crew of “The Play That Goes Wrong” won four Foxy Awards at a ceremony held on Tuesday. The winners included drama teacher Julianna Krawiecki, who won in the Outstanding Production of a Farcical/Satirical Play category.
The Foxy Awards is given by Montclair State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance. The awards recognize excellence in the production of school plays throughout New Jersey.

The aim of the awards is to promote and advance the commitment to high-quality play production in New Jersey schools.
Students and teachers are honored for their accomplishments in performance, direction, design and technical theatre, as well as outstanding productions.

- Outstanding Achievement in Student Stage Crew: Matty Baglio, Florencia Curchitser, Abby Diamond, Evan Dixon, Dani Franke, Anja Gatzke, Azlyn Haley, Carolina Kertesz Kok, Isabella Kolleeny, Colin Lansky, Lily Raphael, Iris Sikma, Max Slaymaker, Sasha Stepanova, Lilly Tuliszewski, Emma Tully, Grace Waldman, Brooke Zhou,
- The Jo Anne Fox Award for Technical Director: Jeff Van Velsor & Bridget Schmidt
- Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Farcical/Satirical Play: Elliott Becker Peeler
- Outstanding Production of a Farcical/Satirical Play: Julianna Krawiecki
The theatre department has also received several nominations from Paper Mill Playhouse's 2023 statewide Rising Star Awards.
