Morris Habitat for Humanity Receives Grant from Bank of America
The funding announcement coincided with BofA's eighth annual Global Build, an initiative that addresses affordable housing challenges.

Morris Habitat for Humanity, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to building homes, communities and hope, received a $75,000 grant from Bank of America (BofA). The funding announcement coincided with BofA’s eighth annual Global Build, a month-long initiative that addresses affordable housing challenges.
The grant award was made at the site of Morris Habitat’s largest project to-date, a 25-unit condominium complex for low- to moderate-income families located on Bennett Avenue in Randolph. The grant also coincided with a volunteer day with BofA employees. Throughout the month of October, BofA team members from the tri-state area volunteered at three Morris Habitat home sites, including Randolph, Summit and Long Valley.
“Access to an affordable home is a critical step on the path to stability and success,” said Liz DeCoursey, CEO of Morris Habitat for Humanity. “Through our partnership with Bank of America, we are working to connect more individuals to a decent place to call home and to strengthening our community. Bank of America’s decades-long support demonstrates their confidence in Morris Habitat as one of the leading builders of affordable housing in New Jersey.”
