14-Year-Old Hosted Glen Rock House Party With Alcohol: Police

The party was held at an Indian Road townhouse, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A 14-year-old hosted the house party at the Indian Rock townhouses that several juveniles fled from Aug. 28, police said.

Police investigated the party after several people complained about a series of "disturbances," Chief Dean Ackermann previously said.

Several juveniles fled the area in multiple directions when police arrived, Ackermann said.

Officers from Glen Rock, Ridgewood and Fair Lawn spent two hours restoring order in the area.

A complaint was filed against the teenager who hosted the party, the chief said.

The case has been referred to the Juvenile Intake Unit of Bergen County Family Court.
