  • Driver Luis A. Vazquez-Rosa, 69, of Bronx, NY
  • Passenger Angela J. Burgos, 62, of Bronx, NY

The two people in the Jeep sustained minor non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Back in June, state police had told the media that according to an initial investigation, both vehicles were traveling north when the Jeep struck the rear of the Plymouth shortly after midnight.

Both vehicles became engulfed in fire as a result of the crash, police said. The highway was closed for more than four hours.

An obituary for Angel J. Burgos Matos of the Bronx, with the same death date, gives her age as 54. According to Thomas Manterra Funeral Home in the Bronx, she's now interred at Rosehill Crematory in Linden. No obituary is available.

No obituary or family information could be found for Vazquez-Rosa.

Several classic car shows were taking place later that Sunday in North Jersey. A representative for a classic car show on the Hoboken waterfront said no one with those names had registered a car.
