Alleged Thieves Used Stolen Credit Cards At Ridgewood Stores, Police Say

Cards were allegedly used at high-end stores, police said.

Ridgewood police are looking for two people who allegedly used stolen credit cards at local businesses this week.

A Demarest resident reported to police Monday that credits were taken from their wallet while in Ridgewood, authorities said.

The person realized the cards were missing after being contacted by the credit card companies regarding several suspicious purchases that were made at high-end retail stores, police said.

Police obtained several surveillance photographs of a man and woman allegedly using the cards at the stores.

The Ridgewood Police detective bureau is investigating the matter. Anyone with information should call the detective bureau at 201-251-4537.
