So let's lay out the facts.
A "non profit" hospital that pays its CEO nearly $1.5 million wants to expand. This same hospital pays no taxes to the village even though it should be paying at least $3 million.
And this expansion would essential double its size, make a bad traffic situation worse and squeeze a major medical center on a too small lot.

Why in the world in the Planning Board wasting time on this outrageous request instead of considering the four proposals on the table that could go a long way to revitalizing downtown Ridgewood and would pay taxes?
Valley is not paying its way.

Valley can move...all or in part.
The Village can't.
It reminds me of the kid who killed his parents, and then cried for forgiveness because he was an orphan. Valley has already expanded more of it should on ther lot it has in the village. Now it wants to expand more.
This is not a hard decision to make.
Valley takes more than it gives and now it wants to take more.
ENOUGH.
Valley provides a valuable service. But it can do that any where.
The Village, its residents and businesses, don’t need to be exploited so Valley can keep on giving all its over paid surgeons a Ridgewood address.
Valley is a"non profit" in name only because a lot of people are getting rich on the back of Ridgewood taxpayers.
ENOUGH.
Valley learned nothing from the reaction to its first proposal. The new proposal eliminates an underground parking garage but essentially keeps the same number of encroaching square footage as the last proposal.
ENOUGH.
