Carroo Shines In Return, But Rutgers Loses 31-24

Embattled wide receiver scores 3 TDs against Michigan State.

Leonte Carroo made his presence known in a big way Saturday in Rutgers’ heartbreaking 31-24 loss to Michigan State.

Carroo was reinstated Wednesday after simple assault charges were dropped from a Sept. 12 incident outside the stadium.

Carroo, a former Don Bosco Prep player, owned the box score. He had three touchdowns on seven catches for 143 yards.
