Have Fun and Make a Difference
Everyone is invited to Little Skye Children's Boutique in Ridgewood, NJ next Wednesday, July 27, from 1:30 to 3:00. Join us for a day of inspiration and fun. Local 9-year-old actress, model, aspiring singer and author Chloe Fernandez will read from her book “PCD Has Nothing On Me,” outlining her struggles with PCD, an incurable genetic disorder that attacks the cilia, tiny hair-like structures that line the airways, ears and sinuses, keeping them clean and clear of infections.
Stop by for free lemonade, cookies from Carlo’s Bake Shop in Ridgewood and face painting. Children can also help write a new book, featuring pictures and stories of “what or who inspires you. A portion of the day’s proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish New Jersey. Chloe will sign books on site, with 10% of the proceeds from books sold that day going to the same foundation.
